Chocolate CHOCOLATE!

I am oh-so-addicted to chocolate! I love to eat it. I love to shop for chocolate. Sometimes I even dream about chocolate.

I love to try new recipes too. I found this SCONE recipe today on Sephra

Chocolate Almond Scones

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 stick cold butter, diced

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350°F. Sift the first four ingredients together. Blend the butter into the flour mixture with your fingers until the butter is mixed well through and butter pieces are no larger than a pea. Combine the milk, egg, and yolk in a separate bowl. Add the chocolate chips and almonds to the flour mixture, followed by the milk mixture. Stir until just combined. Divide the dough into six equal balls and bake on a cookie sheet for 25 minutes.

Enjoy! Also, I am pretty sure I'll be getting one of the Chocolate Fountains. So fun!

Tacos Are My ALL-TIME Favorite!

The good thing about tacos is you can make them out of almost anything you have in the fridge. They can be healthy (sometimes I add sprouts) and they can be a HUGE diet splurge. Whenever I travel to Mexico, I always get the tacos from the street vendors, my favorite is El Chino. Don't forget to order the fire-roasted jalapenos (he slices them open, squeezes lime in and salts it!) My mouth is watering RIGHT NOW! :)

This Taco sounds so yummy! I found this link from one of the cooking bloggers I follow on Twitter, The Adobo Hobo. I will definitely be going back to visit this blog often!!

I also love salsa. I make the best salsa in the world. I am not kidding. Maybe someday soon, I will post my recipe. Maybe not... heehee.

What's For Dinner?

The most dreaded question of the day for many parents: "What's for dinner?" I remember when I was a kid, whoever asked mom that question first, got this reply: "Whatever you fix will be just fine." So I learned to get my brother to ask mom what was for dinner. Heehee.

Cooking and preparing food can be a memorable experience. It is nice to involve the kids or your spouse or even your friends in this process. Instead of just letting them know when the food is ready to eat. It is special to give a tasty treat that you have made as a gift whenever possible.

I especially like food when it is SuperCute. You know, like this:

Or This:

I love food, I love to eat, I love to shop for food, prepare food and cook food. I love the way it feels in my mouth and I love to eat with my hands. I will even sneak food off from your plate when you are not looking. (Hey, what's that over there?!) Heehee....

My favorite thing to do when I travel is to try all the local food and restaurants. And I do mean all.  I love the term "Traveleating" it makes me feel warm and fuzzy...
Check out this very informative website.  I know! I am about to follow them :)

I can guess what you are thinking now. (This person must weigh 300 pounds!)

No, actually. I. do. not. heehee.
